November 1- Australia has 0 Covid -19 cases, South Dakota has 1, 332 Covid-19 cases

This is a great triumph for Australia!  Let's celebrate it!

We can do this, too!  

The CNN article said:  "Australia registered no new local Covid-19 cases on Saturday for the first time since June 9, marking a major milestone in the country's battle against the deadly virus.

"The apparent turning point comes just months after Victoria declared a "state of disaster" to stem an outbreak that saw as many as 725 people in a single day test positive for the virus in the southeastern state."
"The 1st national zero community transmission day since June 9," Health Minister Greg Hunt said on Twitter on Sunday."
"Thank you to all of our amazing health & public health workers & above all else the Australian people."
The City of Melbourne, Australia, (5 million people)  had been on lockdown for 112 days.  Australia is 25 million people.  South Dakota has 885,000 people.
"South Dakota Health Officials reported 1,332 new cases of COVID-19 Sunday, along with 12 more deaths."

So Australia's largest city, Melbourne, was on a lockdown for almost 4 months, and the Health Minister praised the Australian people, too!

25 million people and NO cases on Sunday!
We can get to ZERO cases, too!
I don't know if South Dakotans would act in the same way as Australians (co-operate with the Government, follow the lockdown rules for 112 days).
Ask yourself:  What would you do to get to ZERO cases of covid-19 in your city, county and State?  Wear a mask in public?  Practice social distancing?  Wash your hands for 20 seconds each time.
The covid-19 virus doesn't care about politics.  It infects anyone who is unlucky enough to encounter it and doesn't protect themselves with a mask.
Australia showed the world---the virus can be reduced to 0 local transmissions on November 1 !  Let's celebrate this !  Then we'll follow science, and reduce the virus down to Zero.
Everytime you wash your hands with soap for 20 seconds, you are killing the virus!
We can have victory, too!
