Only 47 % Approve

Keloland has a headline:  "Most South Dakotans feel President Trump is doing a good job of handling the pandemic."voters

Don Jorgensen wrote the article.

You go down to the 6th paragraph and read:

"47% of our voters give him a favorable rating while 42% give him an unfavorable rating.  11% are neutral."

https://www.keloland.com/news/local-news/keloland-media-group-argus-leader-poll-most-south-dakotans-feel-president-trump-is-doing-a-good-job-of-handling-the-pandemic/

How is 47% most?

It isn't.

In fact, according to that poll, 53% either give Trump an unfavorable rating or are neutral.  Note;  Neutral is not "doing a good job"--it is neutral.

So how can 47% be MOST (??) South Dakotans?

It isn't.

At best, it is "slightly less" than half of South Dakotans are convinced Trump is doing a "good job", while according to the poll, 53% have an unfavorable or neutral opinion of his "handling of the pandemic."

That was 6 pm today,

Five hours earlier, there is an article on another Argus Leader poll.

"When it comes to how the president has handled the COVID-19 pandemic, more South Dakotans rate his response as poor (36%) compared to excellent (30%). Twenty percent of poll participants say he’s doing a good job, while 14 percent say his response has been fair."

  https://www.keloland.com/news/politics/campaign/keloland-media-group-argus-leader-poll-results-how-would-you-rate-president-donald-trumps-handling-of-the-coronavirus/

This earlier poll (5 hours earlier ?) This poll rates Trump's handling of the Coronavirus pandemic as 30% excellent, 20% good job, 14%  fair and 36% poor.

That is different than Jorgensen's writing, which said 47% favorable, 42 % unfavorable, 11% neutral.

Two totally different polls, with different numbers.

The 1:06 pm version is 50% excellent or good, and 50% fair or poor.

The 6:09 pm version is 47% favorable, 53% unfavorable or neutral (combined).

Neither Argus Leader poll gives Trump "Most South Dakotans"-  One is 50%, another is 47% !

This confirms what many people suspect.

Maybe 47% or half in this state think, Yeah, Trump's handling this pandemic well.

And 53% or 50% think not good, fair or neutral.

This is not "Most South Dakotans..."

If you don't like Trump or Governor Noem's handling of this pandemic which has killed over 225,000 Americans, use your power!
