Corona Virus Action Plan 2-- Let's pass this in January 2021 !

 WHAT WORKS:  A lot of Testing, contact tracing, quarantine, it crushes the corona virus!  It’s worked since January 2020, all across the world.

Read about how Taiwan and New Zealand handled it. 

They both have populations many times that of South Dakota.  Science works, no matter what country you are in.  Taiwan is 25 million people, only 8 miles from China, where the corona virus started.  ( Think Cliff Avenue to Hartford, South Dakota, that how close Taiwan is to China.)

If New Zealand, population 4.8 million can crush the virus, then South Dakota (885,000 of us) ABSOLUTELY CAN!

I am running for State Senate District 20 (Mitchell, Planktinton, Wessington Springs) as a Libertarian.  Here’s what I will do, if you send me to Pierre in January 2021.

I will propose a bill making a Coronavirus Task Force, volunteer, composed of 3 people, lay people, nonpartisan in composition.

I will also propose more Legislation regarding getting more masks and equipment to hospitals and clinics. 

The Governor needs to stop fund raising now, and wear a mask!  Work for the people!  Today.

The task force would  be a few simple tasks.  One, is to obtain free testing for Covid 19.  Hy Vee on 12th and Kiwanis is doing this now, free testing for you, 4 days a week.    The free testing will happen when you get together 3 groups— Companies, nonprofits, and private individuals (benefactors).  Many people would give $100 or more if they knew that it would help 3 or 4 people in the State get free testing.  We can make it happen!  

Two, have free masks available in every county for whoever needs them.  A partnership of companies, nonprofits and benefactors can make this happen!

Three, for families that have difficulty quarantining (say 2 people are infected, and 5  people in the house have to be separate from them in order not to be infected)  hotels, motels, and air bnb places that could donate 1-10 rooms for infected  people who need to quarantine or isolate.

This bill can be passed  by the Legislature in January 2021.  If I'm elected, as your Senator, I will co-sponsor this Bill in January 2021.

Libertarians believe in very simple and profund ideas:  Less government, Less Taxes, More Freedom.

Are you happy with the way Republicans have run our state since 1979?  

Are you happy with the way Donald Trump is running the country while the Virus has endangered our country?  Simple question-   Is Governor Noem protecting you from the Virus?

Vote for the opposition!

The Corona Virus Task Force (3 people) would probably be volunteers in the Bill.   This vital work can be done by hungry volunteers who simply want everyone to have FREE covid 19 tests, free masks and free quarantine rooms set up by  volunteers hungry to end this virus!

We can do the rest!  Free tests, free masks, free nice clean rooms for those who have the virus and just need 14 days to ride out the quarantine and not infect anyone! We can absolutely do this!

The Science of  the Virus is not that hard to understand.  It spreads quickly, human to human, by droplets in the air.

Our defense against this virus is simple:  Wear a mask (which will probably protect you against 90% of the virus droplets), wash your hands frequently for 20 seconds (99.99% effective), and stay at least 6 or 7 feet away from people in indoor and outdoor environment.  

We can do these simple steps to stop us and other people from getting infected.

Usually, you think of a Governor as someone who has the power and moral fortitude to protect all of us in an emergency.

This governor is not doing that.  She doesn't even wear a mank in public.

I am running for State Senate 20, and I would greatly appreciate your vote and support.  I am definitely in the opposition party.


On a Corona Virus Task Force Bill, we can absolutely count on Libertarians, Democrats and some Republicans to over-ride Noem's probable veto.  We can make it the law.  Once it becomes law, we can absolutely stop this virus, much like other countries have.

Remember, early Absentee Voting has already started.  Vote directly at your Court House if you can.
