1185 Covid-19 Cases? Where are the Leaders ?

Friday's numbers are the highest ever in South Dakota.  

1185.

If we have that rate for 7 more days, 1% of EVERYONE will have been infected in ONE WEEK in South Dakota.

My question, as a Voter and a State Senate candidate,  is

WHERE ARE THE LEADERS?

Where is the Governor?  What is she doing to STOP the pandemic?

Where are the Republican State Senators and Republican State Representatives?  Are they working in the Legislature now?  Are they itching to be called back into Legislature to work for the people?

ABSENT LEADERSHIP.

Family values legislature = NOT MEETING throughout the weekend during the PEAK of the Pandemic in October 2020 !

When over 1,000 (almost 1100 !) get infected in one Day, Friday, and the Legislature is not in session!  Will the Governor call the Legislature into Emergency Session?  Are the Legislators clamoring and calling the Governor, saying, Hey, we need to be in Session and FIGHTING the pandemic!

Silence.  

Crickets.

If these are our leaders, we need NEW ones!

You and me.

If the Legislature and Governor FAIL TO ACT, and instead travel around then country fundraising and the legislature does NOT meet in October, November or December 2020, what are we to do?

1.  Vote !  Vote Libertarian!  Vote for the opposition.

2.  Write your State Senator and State Representatives, and tell them to Get the legislature to meet and take Positive Action against the virus!

3.  Write to Thune, Rounds and Johnson, and tell them we need ACTION in Congress to get free covid-19 tests (as Trump promised, but did not deliver), free masks and free quarantine/isolation spaces for those who are infected)!  Tell them we need it NOW, so no more South Dakotans get sick.

4.  Do the Big 3:  Social Distance at least 6-7 feet away from everyone, wash your hands frequently with  soap for 20 seconds, and always wear a mask in public.

5.  Be a leader!  Everyone can lead!  Science can give us victory, as New Zealand and Taiwan have Victory!  Create jobs as an ultrabusiness or social business leader!   We can do it!

As we lead, and really thrive, we will have Less Need for Republican Leaders who do not lead, do not protect us, and build prisons instead.

You can be a leader!  Let's thrive together!
