Create 100,00 Jobs?

 Can we do this?

Absolutely!  We sure can!

Hoping and praying that State and Federal Government or Amazon or Google will do this for us?

Nahh.  There's a better way!

WE do this!

It's called SOCIAL BUSINESS.

It's a regular business, but with one major difference.

All profits flow back into the business, not your pockets.  It is a nonloss, nondividend business.

Let's say you start a Social Business with $10,000.  You put in the capital, make sales, generate profits.

Your goal with this Social Business is to solve problems and hire as many people as you need, creating great working conditions for them.  All the business does for you, as a founder, is pay you back your capital ($10,000) over time, and pay you a salary to run it.  No monthly profit checks.  Just the joy of owning and running a business that is making the planet a better place and providing the best possible jobs for as many people as you can.

You can start a Social Business with $1 or $100 or $1,000.  Truly!

Read up on this.  Muhammad Yunnus is a Bangladeshi Economist (he got his PhD at Vanderbilt University in Tennessee) who won the Nobel Prize in 2006.  He writes and talks about Social Businesses a lot.

So you can do this too!

If you are in Brookings or Madison or Alpena or anywhere in our state, start a business and watch it expand.

Maybe you want to make an original swashbuckling restaurant, produce software that actually HELPS people, or produce something that WILL INSTANTLY make lives better, make a big and expansive plan, then build the business.

Maybe your business that employs 10 people will expand to 500 or 1,000 people!

 If enough people do this, yes we will expand the map and see Social Businesses sprouting up everywhere. The goal is to make everyone richer and happier and more joyous and better!

Jeff Bezos started 26 years ago and Amazon is now huge.

I think you and I can do things great and greater than what has happened before.

As a State Senator, hopefully elected in November 2020, I will be proposing that our Secretary of State office in Pierre will hire 1 or 2 employees who will be EXPERTS in Social Businesses and how to set them up as LLCs or Corporations or Sole Proprietorships.  Maybe one employee West River and one for East River.  They can make it super easy for Social Business people to register their businesses with the state, and get those businesses going!

 Social businesses are also ultra businesses!  What you start today in Mitchell or Aberdeen could have offices in Europe, Asia, Australia, anywhere in the world where you want to operate and spread joy and great jobs!

    This is a very BIG goal. Should you wait for government or big corporations do it for us? It's more exciting for us to create our own Ultra Businesses and Social Businesses! We can do this!
